MTR Tour brings you (back) into the motorcycle saddle
You do hold a driver's licence but you haven't been riding for years now? Or you did get your licence just a while ago and you do not yet have enough selfconfidence to go on tour on your own?
No problem, in our training (approx. 5-6 hours and a maximum number of participants of 5 riders) for beginners or refreshers, you will get useful tips and tricks from an experienced MTR tour guide. Besides a short theoretical part with some exercises on a safe practice venue you will also have the chance to apply the new learning matters on a small guided tour around Munich.
This training offers a relaxed start or reentry into the subject motorcycling to you. The focus of this training is you and your specific fears of and problems with riding a bike. Our intention is that the participatns of this course gain more confidence and experience in handling their bike and are able to enjoy rinding on their own as well as with a group of biker friends.

Riding pleasure and fun for sure
Our local tour guide (native speaker!) takes us - depending on weather and riding level of the participants - along the world famous Tegernsee to Tyrol. Another possible route would take us to the Lake Chiemsee – the "Bavarian Ocean"?. No matter if we are heading through the Zillertal or the Allgaeu – in any case we will deeply enjoy cruising on lovely roads through beautiful landscape.
After a few extended breaks and passing by more than only one natural or historical highlight we will return to Munich in the late afternoon.

Tarmac and gravel will raise your heart beat
Escape city life and follow us on wonderful biker roads – a mix of tarmac and gravel - into an amazing mountain world. This is the perfect tour for all those of you who love riding on-road as well as off-road. But don’t worry this is not an off-road challenge but more like a great biker journey through beautiful nature.
We start our tour in Munich and ride on small panoramic roads into our 2 day adventure. On our way we will pass deep blue lakes and ride trough breathtaking green woods until we will reach the fascinating mountain area. Our destination for the day will be a cosy Alpine hut high up in the mountains where we will stay for the night. After a delicious dinner and after of course having inhaled some of the traditional spirits we can enjoy the great atmosphere of this unique place until this perfect tour day will come to an end.
After a peaceful night in thin air we start our way back home riding over high alpine roads though the impressing Zillertaler Alps. With a spectacular view on the mountains we continue our way over the last mountain pass for this tour, the Achenpass and ride then via Tegernsee back to Munich.

Alpenglow. Riverflow. Ready To Go
This great tour leads us through the wonderful alpine lowlands of Bavaria to Austria, where we take the first mountain pass roads as a warm-up for our destination and highlight of the first tour day, the world famous Grossglockner high alpine road.
After a night in a height of over 2,000 m, in the Hohe Tauern National Park and a good biker breakfast with a stunning scenic view on Austria’s highest mountain (3,798 m), we swerve downhill through blossoming alpine meadows and dark green mountain forests, heading for Lienz and the further along the Italian border to the Millstätter See, until we reach our hotel for the night.
The next morning we are bound for the Salzburger Dolomitenstraße, with numerous perfect lookouts for impressing photos of your tour, heading for the German Border. On wonderful roads off the beaten track, we will cruise back to Munich.

Like back to the past in a time machine
The Wild East – a motorcycle trip on little side roads and into another world. A really special something. The hotels we are sleeping in are different and the tour is as long as spectacular and takes us way up North and East, passing by little villages and towns, through huge forests and wildly romantic landscapes.
Right on the first day and shortly after Regensburg, we say goodbye to civilization and wide two lane roads, crossing the border close to Waldmünchen and head for the Czech Republic and the wild, wild East. No more median strip, gas stations only by the hour, quick trips on gravel and dirt roads and a traffic volume, as if going back with a time machine, for at least 40 years.
After reaching the ridge line of the Erzgebirge on the 3rd day, we cruise back to Bavaria as relaxed as on our way up.

Riding pleasure meet wellness pure
This awesome 4 day tour is exactly the right thing for all of you who want to have enough time for relaxation and wellness as well as for perfect motorcycle roads and a lot of riding fun.
On our first day we start our tour in eastern direction. Passing by Lake Chiemsee we will soon after cross the Austrian border and enjoy a variety of wonderful twisty roads. We are cruising through the world famous Salzkammergut with its unique lakeland and enjoy an impressing scenically view on to the Dachstein mountain before reaching our exclusive 4* basis hotel at the Turacher Höhe.
On the following two days our tour will lead us – down to the whim of the participants and of course also depending on the weather conditions – to the surrounding Austrian regions Carinthia and Styria, to Friuli (northern region of Italy) and to Slovenia.
Numerous motorcycle highlights later and hopefully entirely relaxed we will ride back via St. Johann, Lofer and Lake Chiemsee region to Munich on our last tour day.
The focus of this motorcycle tour is on relatively short daily etaps (day 2 and 3), on a moderate tempo and on heaving enough time in order to enjoy the unique spa facilities and the culinary highlights of our exclusive basis hotel.

Beautiful landscapes, authentic meals and royal hotel accommodation combined with some of the most awesome motorcycle roads - what else could you look for?
We will start our tour in Munich and ride on perfect biker roads into the wonderful Austrian province Styria.

After an excellent breakfast in the palace garden we will continue our tour via Sölkpass, the marvellous Nockalmstreet , before we reach our destination for the day in the late afternoon: A wonderful Styrian knight’s castle with a noble and comfortable ambiance – you will just love it! Within this fabulous scenery we will enjoy a delicious knight’s banquet.
The next morning we curve on nice scenic side roads – off the beaten track – through the charming lakeland of Charinthia, past the Carnic Dolomites to South Tyrol. Here we will lodge in a historical residence with a truly royal atmosphere. After a cup of tasty cappuccino and a short detour into the unique Dolomites we will ride back to Munich via Jaufen pass and Timmelsjoch, where our tour will end at about 06:00 pm.

This unique tour leads us from Munich to South Tyrol, where the stunning mountains of the Dolomites are already waiting for us.
Impressing mountain pass roads, numerous curves and loads of hairpin turns will guarantee pure motorcycle fun also on our second tour day.
The next morning we will ride on in Southern direction to lake Garda. It is not only Italia’s biggest lake but it also has its own very special charm and this region definitely invites us for cruising through its fascination landscape. In order to have enough time to enjoy this great atmosphere we will stay another night here.
Passing Lake Ledro and Idro we will ride to Livigno, a tax free zone between Italy and Switzerland on the following day and also stay there for the night.
For our last day again several great mountain passes such as Passo die Stelvio are scheduled before we will ride back to Munich via Reschenpass, Landeck and Garmisch.
Impressing mountain pass roads, numerous curves and loads of hairpin turns will guarantee pure motorcycle fun also on our second tour day.
The next morning we will ride on in Southern direction to lake Garda. The region of
On this journey we will explore the area cross-country,
riding through small villages up to the mountains with an amazing view on the
surrounding regions and again down into the valley, passing by old towns that
make us feel like riding through the time of Don Quijotte.
Our first day will start with a half day warm up
training in order to get ready for facing the gravel.
But speed and difficult off-road courses are not the
focus of this great guided tour. It is more about to become one with your
motorcycle of choice and to have a great time than to set new records. At the
end of each tour day everybody will be a winner, when we will share a good
dinner and our individual experiences and impressions with our group mates.

At the End of May 2010 we are happy to open the first MTR Tour test ride centre in cooperation with the hotel Edelweiss**** and powered by BMW Motorrad in Berchtesgaden where BMW motorcycles and gear can be rent for daily test rides to explore the stunning country side around Berchtesgaden. This special service is not only for clients of the hotel but also for visitors and the locals.
Welcome to a spectacular world of natural beauty around Berchtesgaden and the first and only alpine National Park in the German Alps. Situated in the heart of Berchtesgaden the Hotel Edelweiss**** is the perfect place to start our motorcycle day tours. The German Alpine road is calling or would you rather ride to the Land of Salzburg with its famous lakes or take turn after turn up to the Grossglockner.
