Important Documents
Please don´t forget to bring the following documents with you and hand it over to your tour guide before tour start:
- Valid driving licence class A
- Booking Confirmation
- Valid Passport
- User Agreement / Disclaimer
Participation in our tours is only possible with a signed User Agreement / Disclaimer. You will receive this document at tour start from your tour guide.
If requested we can also send it to you in advance for your information.
Participants from abroad who´s driving licence is not valid within the EU need an international driving licence.
Important Behaviour Rules
- Top Rule: ride defensive instead of offensive!
- Every rider is responsible for complying with the traffic laws of the countries visited
- Please follow the instructions of your tour guide
- The bike will be handed over to you with a full tank. It also has to be returned fully fuelled after the tour
Riding Experience
Every rider should feel confident on riding a bike. Out of experience people of almost all experience levels can come on tour with us without any problems. We put a lot of emphasis on fair and safe riding behaviour.
Please take in consideration at your rental bike choice that riding in the Alps requires more riding experience and practice than other regions might do. Our office team will be happy to advice you.
Tips For Rider Equipment
Tour participation is only possible with protective motorcycle riding gear. We recommend all-weather suits, a motorcycle helmet which complies with current safety standards, gloves and solid motorcycle shoes.
No participation in jeans and sneakers!
Please also don’t forget about sun glasses or rain protection.
If requested we can also supply high-quality riding gear (BMW suits, helmets, shoes) for all our tours. Prices and availability on request.
Rental Bikes
The following BMW rental bikes will be available for the tours *:
F650 GS, F800 GS, F800 R, F800 S, F800 ST, K1300 GT, K1300 R, K1300 S, R1200 GS, R1200 GS Adv., R1200 R, R1200 RT, S1000 RR.
All motorcycles are generally equipped with side panniers except the new sports model S1000RR.
All rental bikes are covered by a third-party liability insurance with a deductible of € 500,00. This deductible will be secured by a bond in form of your credit card details at tour start. Please be informed that your credit card will not be charged right away. If you will return the bike without any damage we will return your credit card details to you without any charging.
If the bike will be damaged on tour you will have to complete a damage regulation form which will be handed over to you by your tour guide.
You are liable for returning the bike to the place where it was handed over to you.
*there might be an other motorcycle pool available for our special tours.
Cancellation of the Tour
Please inform our office in writing (email, fax or post mail) and also by phone as soon as possible if you will have to cancel your tour participation.

Travel Cancellation Cost Insurance

How to get to the Meeting Point for tour start:
By car/motorcycle arriving from the motorway A9 Nuremberg => Munich:
Take the exit Freimann and turn right into Heidemannstraße. Follow the signs “Messehallen M.O.C.”. After approximately 200 m turn left into Lilienthalallee, go past the exhibition halls and turn left again after approximately 500 m into Edmund-Rumpler-Straße. After another 200 m please turn right directly in front of the sports ground. You have reached the meeting place for our MTR tours now.

How to get to the Meeting Point for tour start:
By car/motorcycle arriving from the city center:
You drive on the motorway A9 in direction to Nuremberg and take the exit Freimann. Turn left into Heidemannstraße and follow the sign “Messehallen M.O.C.” (exhibition halls M.O.C.). After approximately 250 m turn left into Lilienthalallee. Go past the exhibition halls and turn left again after another 500 m into Edmund-Rumpler-Straße. After approx 200 m turn right directly in front of the sports ground. You have reached the meeting place for our MTR tours now.

How to get to the Meeting Point for tour start:
By airplane/public transport:
From Munich airport you can take the overground train S8 in direction to City center/Geltendorf. At the station Marienplatz please change to the underground train U6 and continue in northern direction (Garching-Forschungszentrum respectively Fröttmaning). Get off at the station Freimann. From there it is an approximately 10 minutes walk in direction “Messenhallen M.O.C.” (Exhibition halls M.O.C.). Reaching the Edmund-Rumpler-Straße please turn left directly after the sports ground. You have reached the meeting place for our MTR tours now.
